inspiration: bottle caps
I saw the bottle caps collection on flickr and though the typography and design on each cap is really cool. These are some of the one that i like. view the rest of the bottle caps collection on flickr. [via fragmented photostream.]
while searching for bottle caps designs. I also found an artist, Molly B Right, who create large scale portraits from vintage bottle caps. What a creative way to recycle everyday material into work of art.

inspiration: typewritter sculptures
I love it when someone find the creativity to take antique objects that are not around much anymore and turn them into a great work of art. Thats exactly what Jeremy Mayer did with typewriters. He disassemble them and then reassemble them back into different sculptures. I happened to stumble upon this through wired.com and thought that it was amazing.
He has a lot more pictures at his website.

fanta-stic branding
Fanta Before and After
I use to hate Fanta.. maybe its because of those horrible fanta commercials on tv.. you know the one that goes something like “Want a Fanta dont you want a wanta fanta“.. then it repeats it like a gazillion times.
but right now Im diggin the new fanta look that was designed by Office, a design studio in San Francisco. The new design is not too much different from the old one, however it gives it a much “fresh” feel to the brand. It makes me want to go drink some orange soda.
From what I’ve read, it seems like the new identity hasn’t been implement in the U.S. yet. Hopefully I’ll see them around the grocery shelf soon.
